Famous Chinese oolong tea from the surroundings of the Wuyi Mountains in the northern part of Fujian province. This iconic Chinese tea is known for its rich flavor, unique aroma, and exceptional quality.

 

The taste of Da Hong Pao depends on many factors such as the quality of the soil, the age of the tea bushes, the use of fertilizers, and the experience of the farmer and tea technologist who conducts the final roasting of the leaves.

 

This particular Da Hong Pao is a representative of budget Wuyi oolongs. 

 

Aroma: Bright with notes of nuts, tobacco, and caramel. 

 

Taste: soft, spicy with notes of chocolate, nuts, and cream. It reminds of brownies. In the aftertaste, a berry sourness and sugar sweetness unfold.
